Arts Advocacy Work with Americans for the Arts & ARTS NC

In the Spring of 2019, Katie, the founder of JULY RUBY, volunteered with Americans for the Arts, a national art advocacy organization, to advocated for arts funding to the National Endowment for the Arts.

There Katie met with law-makers to discuss the impact that the arts make in education, communities, and with special populations, like the veteran community.
